This was the vision of a Master Mercedes-Benz technician, Mario Rizzoli, when he and his family first opened the doors to Rizzoli’s Automotive on December 6, 1976. Sharing his dream was his wife, Mary, and son, Jim, founders of this now four-decade-old family business. In 1989, Jim and his wife, Kay, purchased the operation and opened a second auto repair location in Santa Maria. In 2007, the third generation of Rizzoli’s, brother and sister Kyle and Karen, joined the business after graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Kyle, holding a degree in mechanical engineering, and Karen, with a degree in agricultural business, have added modern insights to our facilities and operations. Kyle serves as CEO, and Karen as General Manager, overseeing operations across all locations. In the fall of 2021, we opened our third location in Grover Beach, and in 2022 our fourth location in Morro Bay expanding the business to its current standing.
Rizzoli’s Automotive has established itself as the premier auto repair facility for American, Asian, and European vehicles in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.
