How do we do it?
Here at Rizzoli’s Automotive we are always striving to achieve and higher level of organizational environmental sustainability by minimizing environmental impacts. We do this through creating positive impacts on society and its environment. This is aimed at enhancing the conservation of ecological resources, and maintaining or improving the equilibrium between human beings, other species and their natural world.
Water Stewardship –
Every drop of water saved is a positive step towards environmental sustainability. We give our customer the option if they would like a car wash performed.
Using primarily drought resistant landscaping around shops allow the least amount of water usage.
Energy Management –
As a state certified Green Repair Shop, we recycle all metals and utilize only high efficiency lighting throughout the shops.
We store and dispose of all hazardous materials to ensure our carbon footprint is as small as possible.
Recycling & Waste Reduction –
Recycle ALL used oil and oil filters to conserve non-renewable resources, decrease heavy metal emissions and greenhouse gas emissions.
Digital inspections decrease the amount of paper waste.
Chief Financial Officer
Personal car care. Exceptional customer service. This was the vision of a Master Mercedes Benz technician, Mario Rizzoli, when he and his family first opened the doors to Rizzoli’s Automotive on December 6, 1976. Sharing his dream were his wife, Mary, and son, Jim, both of whom were also founders of this now three decade-old family business. In 1989, Jim and his wife, Kay, purchased the operation, opened a second auto repair location in Santa Maria and grew the business to what it is today.
Rizzoli’s Automotive has earned its reputation as one of the premier auto repair facilities for American, Japanese and European vehicles in San Luis Obispo County. in 2007, the third generation of Rizzoli’s, brother and sister Kyle and Karen, joined the business after graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo- Kyle with a mechanical engineering degree and Karen with an agricultural business degree. Kyle is General Manager overseeing operations at both locations. As the automotive industry progresses, Rizzoli’s Automotive is committed to keeping up with the latest in automotive technology.
